International week

We are celebrating international week this week. We will have activities and even be cooking some international dishes in our teams during the week all leading up to the big celebration on Thursday. Some students have been asked to  perform in a special international assembly on Thursday. For this celebration assembly there will be a costume and flag parade. Children are asked to come to school dressed in their country colours or traditional costumes, This will begin at 9:30am in the hall.

Reading in Team Awa

We have been lucky enough to have some warmer weather so we have been able to take our big buddies outside to read with them. Here you can see some of our team reading with our buddies and with Nana Jan.

Halloween Disco Tomorrow

Reminder that the Halloween disco is tomorrow. If your child would like tickets they need to be purchased in the library tomorrow morning between 8.30 and 9am 

Important note - Calendar Art

Due to a small mix up with notices the Calendar Art order forms have not gone out to all students. If you would like to order a calendar of your child's art work and did not receive an order form please pick one up from the classroom in the morning.

Junior Athletics Day

Green Mufti day on Friday

There will be a green mufti day on Friday this week. 

We are raising money for the environmental group, please bring a gold coin and wear green coloured clothes or a costume promoting care for the environment.

High Jump

On Thursday we went out with Team Waipuna and Team Hapua to practice our athletics skills.

Introducing Miss Daly

We are very lucky in Team Awa to have Miss Daly as a guest teacher in our team for the first four weeks of term. Some of you may remember Miss Daly from when she was here in term two.

Please make her feel welcome as a part of our team.
