Learning Through Play Outside

Last week we took our Learning Through play outside into the sun and had lots of fun experimenting with water play, paining, writing and drawing with chalk, playing with the dolls and practicing our balance and gross motor skills on the playground and by using the stilts.

International week celebrations

As you all know it is International Week at Isleworth School this week.

Here is a peak into some of our celebrations.

We have read some international stories.

Harley shared some special family artifacts.

We made vaifala, a Samoan pineapple and coconut drink.

The blender was a little loud.

And the drink wasn't to everyone's taste

 

 But we all had a chance to try something new and many kids found that they actually really liked it. 

We had lots of empty cups at the end

Quick reminder that there is an international week celebration assembly tomorrow. 

Please have the children wear country colours or traditional costumes.
