Team Awa Planting Peas

Team Awa is very excited to see that the pea seeds we planted in week five are growing really quickly.

In week five, Team Awa planted some pea seeds as part of our activities while we looked at the letter "p".

For a few days nothing happened then when we came back to school after the weekend we were very excited to see small shoots had began to grow.

This week the plants are getting taller. They now have leaves and have grown higher than the edge of the planter box. We have been sketching and labeling our plants and learning about how they grow. 

We can't wait until the peas begin to grow on our plants.
