For our segment of the Isleworth School production of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' we will be dressed as monsters. There have been a few questions about information we have sent out previously so we hope this clarifies everything for you.
What is needed for each child in Awa for the production?Block Coloured Clothing: Coloured clothing in any one colour - the brighter the better (upper body and lower body).
To clarify...
- Block coloured clothing should not have big coloured designs or patters wherever possible.
- This can be in the form of a t-shirt, long sleeved top, track pants, shorts, leggings.
- We’ve heard it has been quite a challenge to find pants the same colour as a top. If you are truly stuck, your child can wear different coloured trousers.
- Block coloured outfit - all items labelled and named put inside a bag with your child's name on it.
- Your items will be checked this Friday 7th and used for dress practices before being sent home on the Monday 10th, the day of the Production.
- The reason it will come home on the day of the Production is so that your child can come to the Production night dressed in their block coloured outfit ready to perform.
- All children must arrive in their required costume at 5:45pm.
- Parents/caregivers are not allowed backstage at any time before, during or after the show.
- At the end of the show Awa children will be seated together in the audience. For safety reasons YOU MUST SIGN OUT YOUR CHILD AT THE END OF THE PRODUCTION with your child's teacher.
- Teams Awa, Moana and Waipuna students must arrive at 5:45pm at the Green Room entrance.
Thank you for all your help from home in preparing for this. We're all looking forward to an awesome night!
