Time to learn the time

Learning about time - AwaLearning about time - Awa — by Eden Russell

Team Awa has been learning about the different ways we measure time.

We have learnt about the four seasons in a year, twelve months in a year and seven days in a week.

We have even been looking at clocks and have learned to tell the time to the hour. We practiced jumping around a big chalk clock on the ground outside to see where the hands would be at different o'clock times and made moving clocks in our books.

You can see in the photos below we have looked at the order things happen in and talked about what happens before and after things in our day making a big long timeline of a day across our classroom.
